Lubov is the devoted mother of 10-year-old Anton, a bright and resilient boy from Bila Tserkva, near Kyiv, Ukraine. Anton faces multiple challenges, including autism, scoliosis, foot deformities, and gluten intolerance, yet he approaches each day with courage. Since the age of two, he has undergone intensive therapy and rehabilitation four times a year. To support his physical and mental development, he attends weekly sessions with a speech therapist and psychologist. Anton’s progress depends on consistent access to medication, specialized rehabilitation, and a strict gluten-free diet.
Amidst the demands of motherhood, Lubov serves in the Ukrainian Armed Forces and still finds time to create exquisite bead embroidery, which she sells to help cover Anton’s medical expenses. The ongoing war has placed tremendous financial strain on their small family, making outside support not just helpful but essential.
The Futurevia Foundation stepped in to help Anton access the treatment he needs. Lubov now volunteers with the Futurevia Foundation, playing a vital role in identifying other children with disabilities who are in urgent need of assistance in Ukraine. One of the children she helped connect with Futurevia Targeted Aid was Anna, a young girl who has since received tailored medical aid through the foundation.
Lubov’s story is one of strength, love, and service. Her partnership with Futurevia reflects our shared mission: to uplift families, restore hope, and provide targeted care for children with disabilities across Ukraine.
