Futurevia Global Fellows Program

Empowering Ukraine’s Future Leaders in Public Policy

The Futurevia Global Fellows Program is an initiative dedicated to cultivating the next generation of Ukrainian public servants, policy innovators, and civic leaders. Launched by the Futurevia Foundation in partnership with leading U.S. universities, the program offers a transformative, year-long professional development experience for outstanding young Ukrainians who are completing or have recently completed their undergraduate or graduate studies in Ukraine or Europe.

Our Vision

As Ukraine navigates a critical chapter in its history, there is a growing need for principled, globally informed leaders committed to rebuilding institutions, shaping policy, and advancing the public good. The Futurevia Global Fellows Program seeks to meet this need by equipping young Ukrainian changemakers with the tools, networks, and experiences necessary to drive meaningful reform at home.

Program Highlights

One Year at Leading U.S. Universities


  • Academic Access: Participate in tailored coursework at top U.S. institutions, with a focus on democratic governance, public leadership, and international cooperation.
     
  • Professional Development: Join dynamic speaker series, hands-on skill-building workshops, and mentorship opportunities with leading U.S. policymakers, academics, and changemakers.
     
  • Policy Lab Practicum: Collaborate on real-world policy initiatives addressing Ukraine’s most pressing challenges and long-term strategic goals.

Eligibility Requirements

Ukrainian Citizenship: Applicants must be citizens of Ukraine, committed to returning and contributing to public service or civic leadership.
 

Academic Background: Final-year students or recent graduates (within the past 3 years) of accredited Ukrainian or European universities.
 

English Proficiency: Native-level fluency in English is required to engage fully with academic coursework and institutional life.
 

Leadership Potential: A demonstrated record of public engagement, civic initiative, or leadership in community, academic, or professional settings.

Long-Term Impact

Futurevia Global Fellows will return to Ukraine with sharpened skills, a broadened worldview, and actionable insights into public governance. Whether they become national policymakers, regional leaders, diplomats, or NGO directors, these Fellows will represent a new wave of leadership grounded in ethical values, strategic thinking, and international collaboration.
